Position Purpose

The Senior Local Account Executive is the point of contact between Curious Jane and its clients, strengthens client relationships and works with different departments within the agency. The Senior Local Account Executive develops and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing clients to increase revenue, and they ensure that organizational goods or services consistently meet client needs. This position provides strategic guidance and customer support for local clients. They can also engage with and understand Google and Meta campaign results, create budgets and/or proposals for customers. The Senior Local Account Executive can also act as the liaison between corporate and the franchisee, as they work with individual owners while upholding corporate guidelines. They work to resolve any issues or concerns and ensure customer satisfaction. The account executive is responsible for reviewing accounts, selling new business to existing accounts as well as onboard new clients. They help train and guide new account executives.


  • Work with several client accounts at the same time, often juggling various projects and deadlines.
  • Manage client relationships and day-to-day communication with clients and internal staff.
  • Plan, propose and manage client budgets, and ensure that the client’s money is spent efficiently.
  • Develop client relationships beyond email through phone calls and in-person meetings.
  • Discuss ideas and advertising strategies with clients to assist them with developing campaigns.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of multiplatform strategies that include Google, Meta and mass media.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze results and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Participate in strategy meetings to help clients meet their goals.
  • Offer proactive solutions and innovative ideas to clients.
  • Work with project managers to ensure that projects are being delivered on-time and on-budget.
  • Keep meticulous documentation of client requests, project updates, etc.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with clients, Senior Director of Local Marketing and other staff.
  • Be a team player, share ideas and be open to the ideas of others.
  • Provide weekly/monthly client updates and summaries via email and/or reports.
  • Expertise in Google and social media platforms like Meta, Snapchat and TikTok campaigns, and communicate any results from those platforms to clients.
  • Provide and execute monthly meetings for digital and/or social reports, etc. to clients.
  • Notify the leadership team of any potential problems with projects or accounts and strategize solutions.
  • Schedule, lead and drive internal agency and external client meetings.
  • Place design and copy orders as needed.
  • Ensure all creative has been edited and approved by internal staff and then by client.
  • Ability to be the liaison between the franchisee and corporate.
  • Help train and guide new account executives.


  • College degree in business administration, advertising, marketing or relative field
  • Strong customer service skills both in person and on the phone
  • Captivating presentation skills
  • Exceptionally strong writing and communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of Google and Meta campaigns and confidence to discuss and review with clients
  • Excellent understanding of advertising methods and techniques
  • B to C account executive experience
  • Omni channel expertise
  • Ability to plan and manage budgets on behalf of clients.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills
  • Ability to cope with pressure and keep tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Computer savvy with proficiency in various business platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an advertising account executive or related position
  • Strength in organization, accountability and leadership
  • Be passionate, optimistic, proactive, constructive, self-motivated, organized, friendly, willing to work on anything and help others
