Franchisees implement the core values in their own unique ways. John Grey Giffin, an Office Pride area manager, wanted to do good and accomplish some type of community outreach during his workday. He started a food drive and put collection bins and small signs in the workplaces his team cleaned, explaining the need at food banks. When Giffin visited the clients’ offices to check in with Office Pride’s cleaning crews, he would empty the bins, document the donations and take them back to the office. After two weeks, he packed the company van full of donations and delivered them to a local food bank.

Pearle Vision
Pearle Vision and OneSight understand that access to high quality eye care is critical to help children unlock their true potential and achieve their dreams. That’s why they came together to launch a new program, ABSee, powered by Pearle Vision and OneSight. ABSee provides no-cost access to eye care and eyewear to children in need in neighborhoods across North America.
Over the next 12 months, ABSee will bring vision care clinics to cities from Atlanta to Seattle and from Toronto to Puerto Rico. At these clinics, volunteers will conduct vision tests and optometrists will perform eye exams on board a state-of-the-art mobile vision unit.

After the first three events in Las Vegas, Minneapolis and Chicago, more than 600 children each received a pair of free glasses. One 8-year-old had his first comprehensive eye exam and learned he he needed a -8 prescription. He can now see clearly with his fantastic new glasses!

One More Child
For several years, we’ve had the pleasure of working with One More Child, a global nonprofit headquartered just down the road from us in sunny Central Florida. One More Child offers a variety of programs for adoption, foster care, single moms, family support, global missions, anti-trafficking and more.
Event Spotlight
With a mission to change the lives of children and families through Christ-centered services, the organization recently hosted a Celebration Ball to help raise money to provide “One Million Meals” to children in need. Nearly 600 people attended the event, and money raised through sponsors, ticket sales, silent and live auctions and generous gifts from individuals will provide 1,041,780 meals. This effort is just one of the many ways One More Child helps children across the nation and around the world.
